The house on Carroll Street
The Swanson is named for Norine Swanson Jones, a musician and teacher who once lived in this house.
- 1902
Nora E. Cox buys the property and adds the front of the house. The back is believed to be the oldest part.
- 1930s
Her granddaughter, Norine Swanson Jones, starts Perry’s first kindergarten here, in these same rooms.
- 2002
Mike and Kim Sheridan open The Swanson and name it for her.
